Behzad

Behzad joins the Persian beh, meaning good or better, with zad, born, to make a name that reads simply as well-born. Its most celebrated namesake is Kamal ud-Din Behzad, the Timurid court painter of the fifteenth century whose miniatures set a standard for Persian manuscript art.
